We are pleased to share the success of our participation in MECSPE Bologna 2025, the reference exhibition for the manufacturing industry in Italy, which took place from 5 to 7 March 2025 at Bologna Fiere. TOD System had the pleasure of being present at stand B49 in Hall 29, hosted by SIMITECNO SRL, and to meet with numerous professionals and companies in the sector.
Four Robotic Applications Made in TOD System at the Fair
During the event, we proudly presented four different robotic applications developed in-house, designed to meet the needs of metrology and industrial automation. These solutions aroused great interest and curiosity among visitors, offering concrete ideas for innovation in production processes.
Successful Collaborations with Strategic Partners
Many thanks to our partners SIMITECNO SRL, with whom we realised integrated solutions of Universal Robots and Mobile Industrial Robots for metrology applications, in cooperation with HIROX EUROPE on TR1 and Polyrix cells.
Special thanks also to Dobot Robotics, our partner for pick-and-place solutions on the TR1 cell. At their stand, visitors were able to test the SafeSkin safety system and verify its effectiveness in real time thanks to our Smart Totem.
Presentation of the TR1 Robotics Cell
On the first day of MECSPE, TOD System was also present at the Dobot Robotics stand (Hall 30, Stand E77) with our TR1 robot cell. The reception and interest in our #todrobot TR1 collaborative robot was very positive. We showed how SafeSkin technology can prevent collisions and improve safety in automated operations, confirming the importance of reliable solutions in increasingly digitised industrial environments.

The SIMITECNO SRL stand (Hall 29, Stand B49) showcased our advanced robotic solutions Universal Robots and Mobile Industrial Robots, integrated on the TR1 mobile platform and applied to the metrology of mechanical components, with special focus on the needs of the automotive industry.
