ToggleDiscover how we are innovating industrial automation with our latest demo of Digital Twin integrated with the UR10e robotic arm. One step closer to Industry 4.0!
We are excited to announce an important milestone in our industrial automation research! In our laboratory, we have successfully implemented a demo of Digital Twin integrated with the versatile robotic arm UR10e of Universal Robots, focused on operations of pick-and-place.
What does this mean?
A Digital Twin is a virtual representation of a physical system, in our case, a robot. This digital replica allows us to:
- Real-time monitoring: Every movement, every operation of the robot is under constant observation, ensuring total transparency of the system's performance.
- Optimising scheduling: Thanks to simulation, the robot's programming can be refined, minimising errors and maximising efficiency.
- Preventing problems: The Digital Twin helps us predict potential malfunctions, allowing us to proactively intervene on maintenance and reduce downtime.
The benefits for your company:
- Greater flexibility: Production lines become more adaptable to changes, thanks to the ease with which the robot can be modified and reprogrammed.
- Artificial intelligence: The integration of the Digital Twin opens the door to the use of artificial intelligence algorithms for process optimisation.
- Connectivity: The Digital Twin fits perfectly into the Industry 4.0 paradigm, fostering the integration of production systems.
A smarter future
This demo represents a significant step towards a future where industrial automation will be increasingly intelligent, efficient and connected. We are convinced that the Digital Twin will revolutionise the way we produce, opening up new opportunities for companies of all sizes.
