We are excited to share a new milestone achieved in our laboratory! We have successfully pioneered an innovative solution that fuses collaborative robotics, computer vision and digital simulation.

Experiment

We implemented an automated system capable of:

  • Identifying and picking up trays: A Universal Robots UR10e robot, equipped with a Robotiq gripper, precisely locates trays on a table using a computer vision system.
  • Deliver the trays: The picked trays are placed on a KEENON Robotics T5 service robot, which autonomously transports them to their final destination.
  • Simulate and monitor: Thanks to RoboDK, we have created a Digital Twin of the process, which can be viewed in real time on a screen. This digital representation allows us to analyse each step of the operation and optimise the workflow
