TOD System among Selected Companies at 'AI for Manufacturing' Call
We are proud to announce that TOD System was selected among the 10 finalist companies of the Call4Solution 'AI for Manufacturinginitiative dedicated to innovation in the manufacturing sector, with a focus on collaborative robotics, artificial intelligence And intelligent automation involved more than 1,800 Italian companies. Our team had the opportunity to participate in the Final Demo Dayheld on 21 May 2025 at SMARTT Valley in Daverio (VA).
An Ecosystem for the Industry of the Future
The Call gathered 70 proposals from start-ups, innovative SMEs, research centres and scale-ups on three strategic axes:
- Industry 5.0 on a human scale
- Smart and sustainable manufacturing
- Innovative training with AI for manufacturing
The Demo Day was the highlight of the event: a day full of discussions, demonstrations and networking between companies, investors and innovators on the Italian scene.
The Contribution of TOD System
During the day, TOD System presented its robotic solution TR1, a Autonomous Mobile Manipulator Robot (AMMR) designed to integrate into the contexts of smart manufacturing. Our intervention focused in particular on the value of the human-centric robotics and the positive impact that theArtificial intelligence can generate in industrial processes.
Through a practical demonstration, we showed how TR1 can operate in real production environments, contributing to
- Improving the job security,
- Increasing the quality of operations,
- Increasing theprocess efficiency.
Our approach aims at a harmonious integration between man and machine, where technology supports and enhances human work, without replacing it.
New Connections and Opportunities
The active involvement of the participants, the numerous questions received and the interest shown confirm the urgency and importance of investing in technology-oriented centrality of the person. The Demo Day experience was a valuable opportunity to building new partnershipsand compare ourselves with the major players in the sector and initiate concrete paths of co-design, proof of concept and venture clienting.
